His suggestions were appreciated by the Committee and given priority
in the Standing Committee Report .

in Turino, Italy organised by Terra Madre in October, 2008.

Invited as Speaker in the “Patenting of Seeds” meeting organised by “
GREENPEACE International” in Munich, Germany
from 26th – 30th March, 2007.

British High Commission invited him to a Civil Society Discussion on
“The State of Play in Doha Development Agenda”
on 01st March, 2007 in New Delhi.

Invited to Discuss the Strategic Issues on Agriculture by the
Planning Commission Steering Committee on Agriculture and
Allied Sectors for XIth Plan (2007-12)
on 27th February, 2007, New Delhi.

Invited in the “2nd World Food Communities Meeting”
on slow food in Turino, Italy organised by
Terra Madre from 26th October to 30th October, 2006.

Invited by the “Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture”
for examining The Seeds Bill, 2004 on 03rd July, 2006.
His suggestions were appreciated by the Committee and
given priority in the Standing Committee Report.

British High Commission invited him to a Round Table Discussion on
“Globalisation and the Doha Round” on 10th May, 2006 in New Delhi.

Invited as Speaker in the “Training Programme of National Core Group of experts”
on Transgenics and Indian Agriculture organised by
National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, ICAR,
New Delhi on 18th January, 2006.

Actively participated in the 6th Ministerial Conference of the
World Trade Organization (WTO) (13-18 December, 2005) Hong-Kong.

World Bank invited him as a Penalist in Video Conferencing Meeting on
“WTO – Doha Development Agenda”
on 30th November, 2005 in New Delhi.
Experts participated in the programme from different parts of the world.

Invited by FAO of United Nations to attend “High Level Policy Dialogue
on Biotechnology : Food Security and Poverty Alleviation”
meeting jointly organised by FAO, APAARI & GFAR for
Asia Pacific region on 7-9 November 2005 in Bangkok.

Work done in the sphere of agriculture has been highly acclaimed
and appreciated by
Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture on 04th August, 2005.

Marked his presence as a Panel Speaker at the pre
Hong-Kong Ministerial Meeting Consultation on
Agricultural Negotiations held at New-Delhi,
organised by the Ministry of Commerce (GOI)
and UNCTAD: 19-20 July,2005.

Jointly filed legal objection on 27th Jan.2004 in association
with Green Peace (Germany) in the European Patent Office
(E.P.O), Munich (Germany) for revocation of illegal patent
on Indian Wheat Variety granted to MONSANTO.
The E.P.O, revoked the patent on 23rd Sept. 2004.

Invited to participate in the meeting With PRIME MINISTER
on farmers' issues & pre-budget discussion
on agriculture on 28th June, 2004.
